Patricia Farrell Donahue, PhD, Policy Fellow, George Mason University (USA), and Affiliate Researcher and 2022 US Fulbright Scholar, Tampere University (FI), has led or contributed to over seventy peer-reviewed studies examining national policies and programs in such areas as economic, community, and international development; science and technology; health; labor; education; and finance. Her ongoing research on community participation and public policy has received multiple awards. Her other research focuses on crowdsourcing, citizen science, women in science, and higher education. She is also an expert in conducting numerous research methods, such as focus groups, interviews, surveys, statistical analyses, etc., and is a trained facilitator. For over fifteen years, she has designed courses; created manuals, field guides, and other teaching materials; and taught hundreds of colleagues and graduate students to conduct research, as a certified trainer and university guest lecturer.
