Dr Mark Vicars is an Associate Professor in the College of Arts and Education at Victoria University Melbourne, Australia, Honorary Adjunct Professor, Research Institute Languages and Cultures of Asia (RILCA) Mahidol University, Thailand, Honorary Adjunct Professor, Department of English, Arts & Commerce, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India and Research Fellow in the Institute for Sustainable Industries & Liveable Cities at Victoria University. He has 24 years of working in education in several countries, with 15 of those in higher education, . His research draws upon critical poststructuralist/post-colonial and queer theory to interrogate the discourses and pedagogies of inclusion in and across international educational systems.
