Mafalda Madureira is an assistant Professor in Spatial Planning, at the Twente University. Her main fields of research are within creative cities and creative industries, public spaces and the use of planning support tools to support citizen participation. She coordinates several courses aligned with these topics and has been involved in workshops and short courses in several universities as part of Erasmus and ECIU agreements. One of her current research projects focuses on urban living labs to support sustainable urban transitions.
