Cristina Domingues is a PhD researcher at CIDTFF (University of Aveiro, Portugal) in the field of Language Education. Her research focuses on language acquisition and inclusion in migration settings and its relation to governance in multicultural and multilingual contexts.
She holds a Degree in Modern Languages and Literatures (English and German Studies) and a Postgraduate Degree in Educational Training and a Master in Teaching EFL (University of Coimbra, Portugal). While studying in German Universities (Freiburg, Kiel and Bamberg) she deepened her interest for German Studies, later completing a Postgraduate Degree in German Studies, Literature and Culture. She is a certified teacher trainer and she was a language teacher for 27 years.
