Clare Poolman is an artist living and working in Marseille with a background in international development. She is a graduate of the University of Leeds, the Sorbonne, and Marseille School of Fine Arts. Clare Poolman exhibits in France and internationally (Friche de la Belle de Mai, Centre Pompidou, Hellenic American Union in Athens…). She cultivates a situated practice, attentive to modes of relationship and nourished by residencies, most recently at Drawing Centre Diepenheim and ASFA Rhodes. Clare was invited to participate in the Enhance festival in 2026 to share her artistic research on AI large language models and Twents, a dialect of the eastern Netherlands.
